Our Year 10 trip to Paris from 1st–4th July was an unforgettable experience, packed with culture, sightseeing and plenty of fun. Throughout the visit, students explored some of Paris' most famous landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur, enjoyed a relaxing Bateaux Parisiens river cruise, toured the Parc des Princes stadium, visited the Chocolate Museum and the incredible Atelier des Lumières, as well as spending time at the Luxembourg Gardens, the Tuileries funfair and shopping at Champ Elisees and the beautiful Arc de Triomphe.
The students were an absolute credit to themselves, their families and Herne Bay High School. They embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, curiosity and maturity, showing excellent behaviour, kindness and respect wherever we went. Whether navigating busy public spaces, supporting one another, or representing the school with pride, they demonstrated outstanding character throughout the trip.
It was wonderful to see so many friendships strengthen, confidence grow and memories being made. The laughter, smiles and excitement across the four days showed just how much everyone enjoyed the experience.
I couldn't be prouder of the way our students conducted themselves. They made both Herne Bay High School and Mrs Sparks, Mr Bodey and I incredibly proud, and it was a privilege to share such a fantastic trip with them. Bravo, Year 10!
