CASS Residential to Quex Park
1 Oct

Last weekend, ten students, accompanied by the Youth Engagement Team enjoyed a fantastic residential experience at Quex Park. The trip provided students with the opportunity to step outside their usual routine, try new activities, and develop a wide range of important life skills.

Throughout the residential, the students took part in lots of different activities and challenges. Everyone approached the experience with enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. It was brilliant to see students encouraging one another, working together and celebrating each other's achievements.

The residential was about much more than just having fun. Students developed their communication, teamwork, confidence, independence and problem-solving skills. They were encouraged to try new things, overcome challenges and take greater responsibility for themselves. For some students, activities required them to step outside their comfort zone, and they should be incredibly proud of how they responded.

Spending time together away from the usual school environment also gave students opportunities to build stronger relationships with their peers and staff. There were plenty of smiles and laughter along the way, and the group made some fantastic memories together.

Overall, the Quex Park residential was a fantastic experience and a great success. Everyone had a brilliant time, while also developing skills that will support them both in school and in everyday life.
