News from the Science Department

It's been a busy couple of weeks in the Science department. On Monday 15th, some of our Year 7 and 8 students who have shown dedication and enthusiasm in Science throughout the year took part in a trip to the Science Museum in London. 

They enjoyed a fantastic visit where they explored a range of the galleries, watched a Rocket show and as part of our STEM Technician pilot they visited the Technician exhibition where they found out what future roles they could do.

Then, on Tuesday, our Year 12 Chemistry and Physics students were involved in an Enthalpy and Thermodynamics workshop delivered by the University of Kent.

They were able to use infra-red cameras to observe examples of thermodynamics in action.
