The Maths department at Herne Bay High School is central to our commitment to ensure high quality numeracy skills across the curriculum. In particular, we have embedded several innovative strategies to improve student progress in numeracy and basic mathematics, including diagnostic teaching so no time is lost. We are seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic candidate who will, if suitably qualified, have the opportunity to teach across KS3 to KS5.

The successful applicant will be joining a highly supportive and collaborative department.  We welcome applications from ECTs or from more experienced teachers who are looking to further develop their career. We welcome applications from experienced teachers looking for roles with enhances responsibility, to be discussed at interview. We will also consider part time teaching for the right candidate.
