Year 7-10 Awards Evening

Our annual Year 7-10 Awards Evening took place on Wednesday 10^th July in the Bay Theatre, where we had the wonderful opportunity to recognise those students who have excelled in demonstrating our school values of Kindness, Respect and Dedication, throughout this academic year. All award winners were presented with certificates and have selected books from our Book Fair.

Firstly, our Heads of Year presented the Kindness and Respect awards. Each Mentor was asked to choose one student in their mentor group who they feel has consistently demonstrated outstanding kindness and respect this year. Our Heads of Year then announced their overall Kindness and Respect winner, and we would like to congratulate Maddie (Year 7), Casey (Year 8), Emily-Jade (Year 9) and Finlay (Year 10) on receiving this award.

Students in each year group were also nominated by their Subject Teachers and Heads of Department for dedication to their learning. We also recognised those who are dedicated to their education across the board, and those who have excelled academically.

The evening closed with Senior Students Harriet and Vanessa congratulating our winners and thanking the teaching staff and support staff for all their hard work.

We would like to thank Year 8 Music students Billy and Isaac for so wonderfully welcoming our attendees with their Piano and Guitar duet, and to those students who took part in the short film demonstrating our school values. 

We would also like to extend our gratitude to those families who joined us in celebrating the achievements of our students, we hope you are as proud of them as we are.
