On Thursday 6th February our Year 9 students took part in 4 employability workshops to broaden their understanding of industry sectors and to discover what career opportunities are available to them. The students used their listening and communication skills, whilst problem solving and using teamwork to work through what was being asked of them.
The workshops were:
CCCU – Games Design

Sport Connect
This morning, we are looking at the role of a sports coach by asking the students to work in groups to design their own inclusive sport session for 10-20 people in a local park. We are then teaching them how to put their session design onto a session plan template & then giving the group a brief description of what their session is.
